2 July 2025 – Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) today officially launched the Vendor ESG Hub, a comprehensive digital platform developed to support and empower its business partners in integrating sustainability practices and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into their operations.
This launch follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Prasarana and the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB) on 16 May, aimed at strengthening ESG compliance among vendors within Prasarana’s supply chain in line with global standards.
The inauguration was held in conjunction with HSSE & SD Week 2025, Prasarana’s annual awareness week focusing on Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Sustainable Development.
The Vendor ESG Hub portal offers a range of practical resources, guidelines, and digital tools designed to help vendors understand, assess, and progressively implement ESG practices in a structured manner. The platform is divided into four (4) key segments:
- Assess – Features a digital assessment tool to evaluate a company’s ESG maturity level, allowing vendors to benchmark their current standing and track continuous progress.
- Inspire – A compilation of case studies and success stories to inspire vendors in shaping and strengthening their sustainability initiatives.
- Learn – Educational resources and reference materials to help vendors grasp fundamental ESG concepts and actionable strategies.
- Do – Practical guides and support tools to assist vendors in taking concrete steps to integrate ESG into their business operations and governance.
Nearly 5,000 registered Prasarana vendors now have access to targeted training programs, enabling them to enhance their capabilities and readiness for future sustainable business requirements.
