Starting from Sunday, March 22, the military will be assisting the police to enforce the Movement Control Order (MCO).
While there were many who followed the order, there were still many cases of people disregarding it by playing games outdoors, going to the parks and dining in food outlets.
According to The Star, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced this during a press conference on Friday, 20 March, saying, “We believe with the army’s assistance, the movement control will be better enforced.”
