KOSSAN GROUP RESPONDS TO THE CRITICAL NEEDS OF MEDICAL FACILITIES (PPE)

KOSSAN Group (“KOSSAN”), through its corporate and social responsibility-arm, KOSSAN Foundation (“Yayasan KOSSAN” or “YK”), responds to the present critical needs of medical facilities in its contribution of 5,000 sets of Microgard 2000 Standard Coveralls to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang, Hospital Shah Alam (HSA) and a COVID-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) in Port Klang, Selangor.

The contribution was essential during the critical time of need in addressing the safety and health requirements of medical professionals with the high utilization of PPEs since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic. Mr RK Suppiah, Vice President of Yayasan KOSSAN, accompanied by Ms Poh Lin, Lim, KOSSAN Corporate Affairs & Communications representative were present, witnessed by YB Tuan Charles Anthony Santiago, Member of Parliament (MP) of Klang and Mr Berry Ng Seng Nam, a council member of Klang Municipal Council (MPK).

“KOSSAN through its Foundation’s initiative in supporting HTAR, HSA and CAC in Port Klang is highly welcomed. YB Tuan Charles Anthony Santiago commented that he is deeply thankful to KOSSAN for the support it has shown Klang with the high number of COVID-19 infection and deaths. This demonstrates how KOSSAN has been reaching out and providing continuous support to Klang, even at this critical juncture.

On KOSSAN’s part, the contribution is yet another of its corporate responsibility initiatives in reaching out to the community where it operates as well as addressing the immediate needs in ensuring the safety and health of medical professionals are given due care and protection with the provision of the protective coveralls.
